Our Staff

As the Senior Coordinator at Conwy Connect for Learning Disabilities, I manage develop and co-ordinate the activities of Conwy Connect by working in partnership with other agencies, organisations and individuals.

I am responsible for attending meetings and feeding back information to Conwy Connect's membership. I enjoy travelling especially to places nice and warm and have made a few visits to Florida.

I love to spend quality time with my friends and family. I love music and dance and pottering about in my garden.

COMING SOON!

I have 2 jobs at Conwy Connect. One is working as a facilitator on person centred plans.

The other is as Communications Officer, supporting the production of information for the organisation.

I help to create videos for people, produce audio/video versions of printed information, coordinate our volunteer group and do general administration tasks.

My hobbies include; music, photography, computers and the cello.

My favourite way to spend the weekend is walking in the beautiful Welsh countryside with my Tegan,my Jack Russell.

Over the previous 9 years, I have worked for Conwy Social Services Learning Disability Team, and teaching Basic Skills to adults with learning disabilities.

Following on from this, after recently completing all of Conwy Connect's Person Centred Planning Service training courses, I commenced ‘freelance' work as a Person Centred Planning Facilitator: eventually going on to work directly with Conwy Connect in 2006.

I now work on individual plans with people; and assist Ann Davies - Person Centred Planning Coordinator/Facilitator and also share my experiences as a Facilitator with other members of the Foundation Team.

I love going to the Theatre to see Shows, and Musicals; and really enjoy the cinema too.

I'm crossword mad; and love watching ‘Dancing on Ice', and ‘Strictly' on T.V.

I also have 2 small terrier dogs,  Molly, and Maisie (whom are mother and daughter).

I have one daughter in her twenties.  She is a Mechanical Engineer; and, although she lives in Manchester I get to see her once a month on average – which is just great cos “I love her to bits”!
