People with ASD use all kinds of services and businesses in Wales. We are aiming to raise awareness of ASD across all Wales. By having some understanding you can really help people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders. Visit to access some learning about ASD. This will only take a short amount of time but can make such a big difference to people with ASD. Your learning will be rewarded with a personalised certificate.

The Moving-On Solutions group is a group of people who are working to develop new opportunities for social and leisure activities in the community. The aim is for these activities to be self-supporting so that they can carry on long term. This group has continued to meet monthly with representative from Conwy Connect attending. We have ensured that bulletins have been produced to communicate the discussions of the group, these have included:

Please contact Ramona on 01492 575374 or Sue on 01492 536486 if you require copy of the bulletins or any further information on the Moving On Solutions Group.
I have been overwhelmed at the demand for places at the new club and I wonder what all these people did on Tuesdays in the past. On the other hand, I am highly delighted that so many people want to join the new club. It is really pleasing that so many of you are interested and want to be involved in creative activities. To date I have received applications from over 40 service users who would like to come to the Tuesday sessions, when originally I only planned and budgeted for 12 people to attend!
Membership is now at capacity for our resources, but we don’t want to turn anyone away and will try to accommodate everyone, including the 15 support workers who will be staying with their service users for the sessions. We hope all of them will become fully involved in all our activities. As you will understand, to arrange activities for such a large number of people would be extremely difficult for the first session and so we have decided to use 13 September as an enrolment morning, with no sessional fee, just the £3 annual membership money if people decide to join. There will be the opportunity to get to know about each other and to see and try out some of the things they could be doing at the club in the future. It will also be a good time to suggest other things which members might like to do and which may be able to be arranged for you.
So it will be open house at St Paul’s Church, Craig y Don on Tuesday the 13 September between 10am and 12noon. To all those who have sent in an application for membership, do come along and have a chat, a drink and a biscuit and decide what you’d like to do on Tuesday mornings for the next few weeks. Myself and the volunteers look forward to meeting you all.

This open meeting will offer you an opportunity to hear:
The project will provide a client centred approach with a range of services for participants; to include practical support, advice and guidance to overcome barriers to enable people to move into training, volunteering or/and employment.
